Tomorrow marks the start of Alberta’s inaugural roller derby tournament and the Deathbridge Derby Dames are set to take on the Grande Prairie Roller Derby Association in the first bout at 2 p.m. at Calgary’s Olympic Oval.

They want to welcome all their Lethbridge fans to come up for the weekend and cheer them on!

Advance tickets are $15 per day or $30 for the weekend and today is the last day to purchase them in advance here. Tickets are also available at the door (cash only), $20 per day or $40 for the weekend. Children 12 and under at $5 per day or admitted free with a donation to the Calgary YWCA.

For derby fans who can’t make the trip to Calgary’s Olympic Oval are welcome to tune in and watch all the bouts on Canuck Derby TV! Broadcast schedule for both tracks can be found here!

Flat Track Fever will feature 12 women’s teams, 4 men’s teams and 2 junior teams from the US, BC and Alberta and is hosted by the Chinook City Roller Derby of Calgary. In addition to the tournament there will be opportunities to attend challenge and co-ed bouts and browse the extensive vendor village.
